Slice-server to Slice-server replication?

Are there any plans to add Slice-server to Slice-server replication.
For example if 2 Slice-server's are in the same location they could replicate locally in theory. And leave less for the accessor to handle.

No this type of replication (or any other) is not in our plans. Our idea is to replace replication with IDA.
We assume that when a vault is created then desired level of reliability is taken into consideration by choosing appropriate width/threshold. Close proximity of some slices is somewhat accidental and we felt that it is not prudent to build this knowledge into software.
