At Cleversafe, developing an Open Source community of contributing members is key to enhancing the technology and delivering our goal of storing the world’s data.

As you learn more about Dispersed Storage, you will agree our approach to data storage is fundamentally better than existing approaches. Further, our solution offers superior security and reliability benefits.

People already participating with Cleversafe.org are motivated by contributing to a growing technology, learning, and working with a team of people with diverse skills.

Ways to Participate

There are many different ways to participate:

Most of these require only your time (and possibly a simple registration.)

Participate as a Committer

At some point though, you may find yourself staying up into the wee hours of the night reviewing our code, submitting patches, and dreaming of new features. At this point, we probably know who you are as well by all of your valuable contributions. We may contact you to see if you are interested in becoming a Committer. (If you have been contributing consistently, and want to see if you can become a Committer, please send us a note at development@cleversafe.org .)

We foresee Committers as people who have proven their value in the community. Committers may be asked to help on specific projects on a consulting basis, or possibly be approached to work for cleversafe.org.
